Casual Online Dispatch Assistant - Oakleigh

Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant - Oakleigh
About The Role
As a Full-Time Driver/Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Swimwear Galore. You will be responsible for both driving and maintenance duties, as well as assisting in our warehouse providing valuable support to our stores and management teams. Your role will involve daily deliveries to multiple store locations, and assisting with general upkeep tasks. Your attention to detail, time management skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily deliveries to our store network
- Maintenance work required throughout our 7 Victorian stores and warehouse
- Installing and removing window displays at store level
- Stock receipting inward and outward goods including counting and checking off goods
- Replenishing stock to our retail stores ensuring inventory is picked, scanned and packed efficiently and accurately within the allocated time frames
- General cleaning
This is a hands-on, physical role requiring people who can work both in a team environment and autonomously. You must be reliable and able to start immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a retail setting
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, such as painting, repairs, and plumbing
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Manual licence not essential, but is a plus as well as Walkie Stacker/Forklift experience
