Marketing Coordinator
Only ten days out from living her Mamma Mia fantasy with her best friend, our Marketing Coordinator of course had to pack only the best of the best swimwear for her trip to the Greek Islands.
Upon the millions of other bikinis she’s bringing along, her new favourite deserves a shout out - the Shimmer Ring Ingrid Tri and matching Shimmer Ring Serenity Brief from one of her favourite brands, Bond-eye. “I’m a very simple girlie, who likes to stick to more neutral / dulled down tones but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous blue shade! There are so many things I love about this bikini. I think this colour will look perfect in Greece, and I love how the ring detailing takes the bikini to the next level, elevating the look and giving off a more sophisticated style. I’m also a big fan of the crinkle texture and the subtle shimmer that will look really pretty as the sun hits”.
Elle is trying to smart pack as a notorious over packer and opt for pieces that are versatile. Her top pick is the Sunset Beach Skirt from Sea Level. It’s a great piece when it comes to travelling. Firstly it’s made from lightweight and breathable cotton which is great for keeping you cool but her favourite thing about the skirt is that it’s a two in one! Pull it all the way up for a pretty, ruched bandeau dress or pull it down to the hips and wear it as a skirt!

Laura is off to Portugal to share a port wine and memories with the girls. Our e-comm manager will be rocking a bikini from one of her most loved brands, Jets. “The Isla Rib Halter is so gorgeous! I love the thick halter straps and the ring detail in the centre, not to mention the luxe ribbed fabric. You just can’t go wrong with a crisp white bikini”.
Laura loves a maxi dress on holiday, the Goldie Kassia Dress from Tigerlily will be making its debut as she roams the streets of Portugal. “I love the colouring of this dress and the lightweight viscose to keep me cool, it’s one of those dresses that makes it easy to dress up or down”! Laura will also be packing her Cushion Vera Cruz Slide which are perfect for both the beach and to stroll around in!

Digital Designer
This year our digital designer is visiting her family in the south of France, the French Riviera where she’ll be spending her days swimming at the beach and riding her bike into town with her Panel Stripe Straw Tote to shop at the markets for strawberries and fresh baguettes. Living the dream right!
Cate prefers simple, sleek designs and solid colours when it comes to her swimwear. She’ll be packing her new fav Palisades Vee Bandeau One Piece, “I love the textured fabric and sleek vee neck detailing on the Sea Level Palisades One Piece, perfect Euro swimwear”. She also swears by Jets Pull Over Kaftan for her holidays “this one is a great colour, plus its 100% linen and breathable for hot Euro summer days”.
Comfortable footwear is a must any holiday, you can bet her Holster Sundreamer Slide will be making an appearance. A comfy, versatile shoe that goes with everything is a must, and these are it! To accessorise she's chosen Le Specs Impossible Sunglasses and a neutral hat to top it off to keep herself covered and protected.
And of course, she’s bringing her trustee Kakadu Plum Sunscreen to keep her smelling fresh and protected for those long sunny days out - sun burn won’t be getting her this time!

Escaping the Melbourne chill, our Marketing Manager is off for a quick fix of some much needed vitamin D. Up in Bali, Laura will be rocking her new Artesands D’Avignon Degas Underwire Bra and matching D’Avignon Degas Tie High Waist Pant. “I love the detailing in the print, it’s so cute, and I’m also loving the shape of the bikini top with it’s adorable tie detail. I’m also a big fan of a good high waist pant. The tie side detailing on this one is great too because I can hitch it up to make the legs look longer”. Another reason that this is in Laura's top favourites is that it’s a sustainable style!
A good cover up is an essential on any holiday, perfect for walking around the resort or heading down the street to grab some lunch. I love the short length and long sleeves on this one, and the subtle, yet stylish coverage”.
The Annabel Trends comb is an all time favourite of Laura's that also comes everywhere with her. It’s great to use for those long days out when your hair just needs a quick fix!”. Although not living out her Euro summer dream this year, Noosa will sure do! Base Swim’s classic bikini’s will be coming along to our Digital Content Coordinators relaxing, quiet escape. Skye loves a black bikini, it’s just like a little black dress that every woman needs! And so when she laid her eyes on the Slide Tri style and Tie Side Pant, she just couldn’t resist! “These are definitely coming on holiday with me, I love a simple, but flattering bikini. I think a triangle cut is a must have style on any holiday”.
